Big race in Denton this weekend. Me and all the buddies are headed in that direction from all over the state . Houston Austin and San Marcos including buddies from DFW. Any local oppo's feel free to come out to Denton this weekend and watch fast cars get sketchy in the North Star No Prep Race.
To others who are unfamiliar with no prep. Its the ONLY SAFE WAY TO STREET RACE ! I know I know its not free I know I know its not on the street. But the conditions are as close to the same as possible with the track providing ZERO prep to the track all week long to imitate a normal road conditions. So how this works is each racer bring they're own prep (VHT Track Bite or Pimp Juice or even Dr Pepper) and does a burnout in whatever prep they prefer. At which point they race just like normal but keep in mind there is no prep past the 60' mark. What this does is makes for a VERY dangerous VERY exciting drag race. all the horsepower in the world wont help you here you'll need a fast car that drives straight and doesn't over power the track or lack there of.
Anyhow the race in on Saturday . It's around 20 bucks to get in.. and I'd love to meet some fellow oppos at the strip .

No prep huh pretty cool. We call that unplugged at milan dragway michigan. Its simaler but its all grudge racing no elimination ladders. Wish it was closer and warmer here.

Yea they end up running for big money down here I know parts of the east coast do too.. If a guy who spent him hard earned bucks can go out and drag race his car and possibly come home with a few grand he'll be there giving nascar the middle finger in a heart beat.
